The Valley’s Michelle Saniei Confirms She’s Dating Dr. Dre

Love is on the up in the Valley.

Following weeks of speculation, Michelle Saniei from The Valley has confirmed she is dating Dr. Dre (Andre Romell Young).

In a recent interview with People magazine, she shared that they enjoy spending time together and love each other’s company.

The 37-year-old shares a 6-year-old daughter, Isabella, with her former husband and “Valley” co-star, Jesse Lally. She also revealed she was introduced to Dr. Dre through a friend they both know.

She shared that she’s choosing to keep details about her new relationship private, saying, “I’m just focusing on enjoying this time and keeping things to myself right now.”

Okay, so I totally lost it when I found out Saniei was with Dr. Dre! Like, the Dr. Dre? It’s insane! Everyone knows he and Nicole Young were married forever – 25 years! – before they separated in 2021. And he’s a dad to ten kids, which is amazing! But seeing him out to dinner with Saniei at Nobu back in April… I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first time anyone noticed them together, and honestly, I’ve been following every update ever since.

Although Saniei’s relationship with Dr. Dre probably won’t be featured on The Valley, her split from Lally and the difficulties they face raising their child together have frequently been a main focus of the Bravo show.

Even though it wasn’t easy, Saniei doesn’t regret deciding to divorce after six years of marriage.

At first, I was really worried and wondered if I’d made the right choices, both for myself and my daughter,” she shared. “But now, with time, I truly believe everything I did was the best thing for both of us.

As she noted, “I’m truly happy with where life is taking me.”

Saniei said she intentionally limits her interactions with Lally, both during filming and in their personal lives. Lally previously told TMZ he wasn’t aware of her relationship with Dr. Dre.

She prefers to limit contact with her ex to things directly related to their daughter. They don’t text or spend time together outside of events like school functions, where they might briefly be near each other.

Even though viewers of The Valley have watched Saniei and Lally’s often difficult relationship unfold, it seems they’ve both moved on and are in a more stable place now.

Things aren’t always easy, but we’re doing better. We still have disagreements and sometimes I get upset, but I’m focusing on my own well-being. We definitely still argue occasionally, but it’s a big improvement from where we used to be.
