Since then, it’s become a beloved favorite among manga readers, and now a new audience will discover its appeal with the very first anime adaptation – sixteen years after the manga finished! Psyren Debuts First Trailer Ahead of October 2026 Premiere
The anime adaptation of Psyren is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 as part of the Fall season. However, an exact release date and whether it will be available internationally haven’t been revealed yet. Katsumi Ono is directing the series, with animation by Satelight. Shin Yoshida is writing the scripts, Akira Okuma is designing the characters, and Takashi Ohmama, Tatsuhiko Saiki, and Shu Kanematsu are composing the music. Interestingly, fans have requested this adaptation for years, even though the original manga was canceled.
The new anime adaptation of Psyren promises to faithfully retell the complete story from the original manga, and may even expand upon it. The creator is actively involved in writing the scripts and is excited to see the characters brought to life with animation.
