Fans will finally get to play Mega Man: Dual Override at Gamescom in August, before the game officially launches in 2027. The game is a side-scrolling action title that has been highly anticipated.
Attendees can try out a demo of the game at the Capcom booth, along with Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. There will also be several Street Fighter 6-related events and activities.
It’s been a while since we first heard about the new Mega Man game at The Game Awards last year. Now that people are finally getting to play it, we can expect to see more trailers and gameplay soon.
I’m personally not a huge Mega Man enthusiast, but I understand there’s been a lot of excitement for this new game. Plus, Capcom has consistently released excellent titles recently.
Just a reminder that Gamescom is happening from August 26th to 30th – that’s a little over two months from now.
We likely will see more about Dual Override at Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live event, so that’s a good place to watch for updates.
