North West has piercings on her hands—and fans in the stands.
North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, is going on tour. She recently released her first EP, called N0rth4Evr, on May 1st, and will be performing at 14 shows with rapper Molly Santana, according to Ticketmaster.
Kimokawaii’s tour starts August 5th in Dallas, Texas, and will include performances in cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Toronto over the next several weeks. It’s a roughly month-long tour with a total of 14 shows.
North and Molly, having previously shared the stage at Rolling Loud on May 9th and Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash on June 12th, seem to be embracing a punk sound for their upcoming concert series. This is reflected in the event’s pink and blue promotional poster.
North West, age 10, has two younger siblings – Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7 – and is preparing to perform. Her mother, the rapper known for “PIERCING ON MY HAND,” has worked with many famous artists before, including Lil Novi (Lil Wayne’s son), FKA Twigs, and North’s uncle Travis Scott, who previously dated Kylie Jenner.
Molly, age 21, has gained popularity with hit songs like “Can’t Touch This,” “Ran to Atlanta” featuring Future, and “blackPUNK.” The latter song creatively uses a sample from “Gotta Have It” which originally appeared on Watch The Throne, the successful 2011 album by Jay-Z and North’s father.
The concert series is a significant achievement for North, but she also recently celebrated her 13th birthday on June 15th. Kim marked the occasion of her daughter becoming a teenager by posting a collection of cherished childhood photos and fun TikTok videos of them singing karaoke together.
Kim wished her daughter, North West, a happy 13th birthday on Instagram! She expressed how unique and special her ‘baby girl’ is, sharing that she loves watching her grow up. Kim also playfully referenced North’s childhood fascination with space, telling her she loves her ‘to the aliens galaxies and beyond’.
