Mandy Moore Calls Out Driver After Hit & Run

Mandy Moore is not running away from confrontation.

After a shocking hit-and-run accident involving her family, the actress from “This Is Us” (who has children August, 4, Gus, 2, Oscar, 2, and Louise, 10 months with her husband Taylor Goldsmith) publicly identified the driver who collided with them on social media.

On her Instagram Stories, dated August 1st, Mandy wrote: “The person who hit the back of my family’s car and left us stranded, I hope good karma catches up with you someday. Fortunately, everyone is alright, but I can’t help wondering, what kind of individual behaves like that?

This year, the 41-year-old and her family have had quite a few harrowing experiences; the car accident was simply the most recent one. In fact, as early as January, they had to flee due to the dangerous Eaton fire that occurred in Southern California.

On January 8th, the star of ‘Walk to Remember’ expressed his affection for Altadena with these words: ‘I love you, Altadena.’ In the caption of an Instagram post featuring footage of burning buildings, he was grateful that his family and pets managed to escape before it was too late. He also conveyed endless gratitude towards friends who provided them with shelter, clothes, and blankets.

As a grateful recipient of Hilary Duff’s kindness during a difficult time, I shared my emotions and outlined the immediate effects experienced by my family.

She went on, expressing her deep shock and sense of being stunned, “Tragically, many have suffered losses, even my own family. The school where my kids used to learn has been destroyed. Places we cherished, like our favorite restaurants, are now just ruins. Heartbreakingly, so many friends and loved ones have lost everything as well.

More currently, Mandy along with her family of five had a far more serene getaway during their vacation in Punta Mita, Nayarit, Mexico.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share a scene from my recent adventure, beautifully chronicled in Instagram posts. The enchanting actress known for Tangled and the gifted musician leading Dawes were spotted with their little ones at a breathtaking location. This spot was where the melodious score of nature met the sparkling water, and picturesque rocks served as a stunning backdrop.

Further snapshots from our journey revealed laughter-filled moments like mouthwatering meals and my kids reveling in the waves. Our trip was also graced by the presence of dear friends such as cookbook author Gaby Dalkin, adding more joy to our shared experiences.

Mandy posted on July 31st: “There’s no match for a beach getaway with your closest friends,” she said. “Those were some incredible days, @fspuntamita! We can hardly wait to return (Gus just can’t stop talking about it)!

Their first bundle of joy, August “Gus” Harrison, arrived in February 2021, followed by Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith in October 2022. The actress gushed about all the wonderful things you contribute – your patience, kind demeanor, readiness to handle anything from changing a diaper to soothing a crying baby, or playing with an energetic toddler at a moment’s notice. She also praised your talent in getting Gus to eat and making Ozzie laugh instantly, your excellent music choices for the boys – truly fantastic! There are many more aspects I could mention…

In an Instagram post in February 2023, Mandy celebrated Goosey’s birthday early with friends and family. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been blessed with two years of having such a sweet and funny companion like Gus Goldsmith. We feel incredibly fortunate to have him in our lives.

In April 2020, Mandy posted on Instagram, “For more than six weeks, I’ve been in quarantine with him, and it turns out we still genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

“Me and my love,” Mandy shared on Instagram when teasing another duet performance. 

Whether performing music together or cuddling on the couch, these two make one cute couple. 

The Dawes musician and the actress/singer collaborated on a song for This Is Us.

In November 2018, Goldsmith posted on Instagram: “@mandymooremm @siddkhoslamusic and I were part of recording “Invisible Ink” from the recent episode of @nbcthisisus. In May 2018, the adorable duo ventured out for the yearly Community in Schools Celebration held in Los Angeles.

In January 2016, Moore expressed great pride on Instagram about this individual and the entire band for putting on a truly electrifying hometown performance the previous night.
