Frasier star Kelsey Grammer announced on the October 27th episode of the Pod Meets World podcast that he and his wife, Kayte Walsh, recently had a baby boy named Christopher. He joins big sister Faith, 12, and brothers Gabriel, 10, and James, 8, completing their family.

Kelsey Grammer and dance instructor Doreen Alderman married in 1982 and had a daughter, Spencer Grammer, on October 9, 1983.

Kelsey and Doreen separated shortly after their son, Spencer, was born, and though their divorce wasn’t finalized until 1990, Kelsey has said he regrets not being a more involved father early on.

In a May 2025 interview with People magazine, Kelsey admitted he hadn’t given enough attention to some of his children, particularly his oldest two. He said he’s working to reconnect with them now, emphasizing that a parent can always be there for their kids, no matter what.

Spencer was married to James Hesketh, a firefighter, from 2011 to 2017. They have a son together, Emmett, who was born in October 2011.
