A One Battle After Another Sequel? Chase Infitini Says…

Chase Infiniti has an idea for one film after another.

The star of One Battle After Another has expressed interest in a follow-up to the highly acclaimed film, which received 13 Oscar nominations. She hopes to reunite with her co-stars, Teyana Taylor (who played her mother, Perfidia Beverly Hills) and Regina Hall (as Deandra), for another film together.

Chase told Zuri Hall on March 15th during Live From TopMob: Oscars 2026 that he’s eager to see Willa and Perfidia team up with Deandra.

The 25-year-old added, “I would love to see the three of us together, honestly.”

Chase had a fantastic night, looking beautiful in a custom lilac gown by Louis Vuitton. She was especially thrilled to be at the Conan O’Brien-hosted ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood – it felt surreal! (You can find photos of all the stars on the Oscars 2026 red carpet here.)

She said she had a surreal moment yesterday realizing the Oscars were the next day. But it still hasn’t fully sunk in – she can’t quite believe it’s happening.

Following her acting debut in the 2024 series Presumed Innocent, One Battle After Another was Chase’s first leading role in a feature film. She’s still amazed at how quickly her career is progressing.

She told Deadline in December that she never would have predicted her current success three years ago. She feels incredibly lucky to be working on exciting projects with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Chase playfully credited her success to the stubbornness of her younger self and a supportive, artistic upbringing. Her parents encouraged her passion for acting from an early age.

She explained that her parents’ loving support gave her confidence, but they also instilled in her the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving goals.

When Paul, the writer and director of One Battle After Another, approached her, Chase joked that she was overwhelmed by the scale of the project.

She said she didn’t receive the script until she was already partway through the audition process. Once she read it, though, she found it impossible to put down. She connected with the character Willa, admiring her fearlessness and identifying with Willa’s determination and ability to bounce back. However, she also felt that Willa faced challenges she herself wouldn’t be able to cope with, and was amazed by Willa’s incredible inner strength.
