Artdink is bringing A-Train9 Evolution to the Switch 2. This game celebrates the 40th anniversary of the A-Train series, which lets players manage railroads and build cities, and first launched in 1985. It will be available in Japan on June 4th, and will initially only be released in Japanese.
The game will be available in the following editions:
- Standard Edition (physical / digital) – 11,800 yen (12,980 yen with tax)
- A copy of the game (physical edition is a game-key card)
- 40th Anniversary Memorial Box (physical) – 14,800 yen (16,280 yen with tax)

A-Train 9 Evolution isn’t just a copy of the original A-Train 9; it features a completely redesigned interface and updated graphics. Plus, new buildings—including options with green spaces—let you create more modern-looking cities.
