Even Aaron Paul is excited, as he showed with a fun comment on Cranston’s social media post referencing their time on Breaking Bad.

A short preview for the upcoming Malcolm in the Middle revival, titled Life’s Still Unfair, recently dropped, confirming it will be available to stream on Hulu in 2026. The teaser playfully references the memorable scene of Hal getting his back shaved. Actor Aaron Paul, best known as Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad alongside Bryan Cranston, shared some supportive words for his friend and even made a clever nod to the show created by Vince Gilligan.

I’ll never forget seeing Walter White in those classic white underwear – especially when he was cooking or facing down some seriously dangerous people! So, I’m really excited that Bryan Cranston is bringing back a character like Hal, and honestly, it feels like he’s giving fans exactly what we’ve been hoping for. Though, I’m guessing this Hal won’t be anywhere near a meth lab – just a funny, relatable dad with a big family!
