Abbey Romeo is hoping to celebrate with a glass of chardonnay.

The Spectrum star couldn’t contain her enthusiasm upon learning about the Netflix series’ five Emmy nominations in 2025, particularly in categories such as Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program.

Abbey shared with Francesca Amiker from TopMob News that she was home when she learned Love on the Spectrum had been nominated for five Emmys.

The young woman of 27 expressed her joy that the show was being acknowledged, emphasizing how gratifying it was for her and her fellow actors since they had put in a lot of effort.

Certainly, Abbey is undoubtedly eager that they might win some awards, allowing her to commemorate the occasion with “a toast of wine.

She joked, “We’re all going to get drunk and party.”

Being part of that trailblazing television series, which already claimed five Emmy awards, has undeniably transformed Abbey’s life in an incredible way.

She mentioned that “Love on the Spectrum” focuses on individuals living with autism, highlighting their experiences and giving them a voice in the process.

She continued, “Back in the day, no one understood autism, and that’s why I got very angry.”

Instead, Abbey often felt disheartened by her diagnosis but chose to view herself as just an ordinary child, aspiring to be average.

“Proud for who I am,” she said, “and how far I’ve come.”

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share how the show became more than just entertainment for me. It played a significant role in my life, not only boosting my self-confidence but also introducing me to the love of my life – David Isaacman, my partner of four years. A memorable moment came during season three when I had the heartwarming opportunity to serenade him with my song “Boyfriend Forever.

Abbey expressed that the song held great significance for her. She explained that it portrays David having a unique form of autism compared to hers, and she wishes for him to be her partner for life.

However, the pair have no immediate plans for tying the knot, with Abbey stating that they feel “we’re practically married within.

Spending time with David, aged 30, has additionally contributed to Abbey’s self-discovery. She expressed, “It gives me a sense of acceptance for who I am today.
