Get ready for the return of Star Wars to theaters next month! The new film premieres May 22nd, and to celebrate, Burger King is launching a special *Star Warsthemed menu – bringing the galaxy far, far away back to their restaurants after 20 years.
Burger King is kicking off a special promotion on May 4th across participating US locations. They’ll have limited-edition food items and collectible cups featuring characters from The Mandalorian and Grogu. To add to the fun, customers can get cardboard crowns resembling Din Djarin’s helmet, and kids’ meals will include a free toy. Everything is available while supplies last!
Star Wars Meals Are Back at Burger King
Burger King is celebrating the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu with special menu items and packaging. According to Joel Yashinsky, Burger King’s Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S. and Canada, they wanted to share the excitement of the new film with their customers and combine it with their signature flame-grilled flavor. This collaboration is a way to honor both a beloved franchise and their unique cooking style.
Jan Coleman, Vice President of Partnerships and Promotions at Walt Disney Studios, explained that Star Wars has always been about bringing people together. She believes Burger King’s “Have It Your Way” approach makes them an ideal partner for celebrating the new The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, as both focus on creating fun, shared experiences. Together, Disney and Burger King are offering fans and families a tasty and engaging way to enjoy the excitement of the Star Wars universe.
Collectible Cups and King Jr. Meal Toys Are Included
The following items are a part of the new Star Wars menu:
- BBQ Bounty Whopper – A flame-grilled ¼ lb. of 100% beef, served in a helmet-shaped carton inspired by the galaxy’s most legendary bounty hunter. Loaded with melty Swiss, crispy pickle chips, bacon, lettuce, tomato and smothered in creamy Bounty BBQ Sauce.
- Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake – A hyperspace swirl of creamy soft serve blended with blue sugar cookie syrup and topped with Grogu’s favorite snack – blue cookies!
- Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries – Crispy white meat Chicken Fries seasoned with parmesan and garlic, served in a Grogu-themed carton with garlic dipping sauce on the side to fuel your next adventure.
- Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots – Perfectly crispy tots stuffed with melty cheddar cheese, fluffy potatoes, & ranch seasoning, served in an Imperial-themed carton.
