Wow, 2026 has been a wild year for us manga lovers! It feels like so many of our favorite Shonen Jump series are wrapping up, and it’s getting easier to predict which ones will finish next. We’ve already seen about ten series conclude this year! The recent announcement that Modulo, the sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen and last year’s breakout hit, is ending wasn’t too shocking, since it was always planned as a shorter series. But the ending of Chainsaw Man? That really came out of nowhere and totally caught us off guard!
The latest installment of the series included a message announcing that the next chapter will be the last. Although fans anticipated the series would end at some point, the news came as a surprise to many. With several popular Shonen series recently finishing, another long-running title, Black Clover by Yuki Tabata, is also nearing its end—potentially as soon as next month. The next chapters are planned for release in the April issue of Jump GIGA, where the series may conclude.
A Shonen Series That Has Been in Serialization for More Than a Decade Is Next in Line to End

The newest chapters of Black Clover, published in the Winter issue of Jump GIGA, have finished the series’ main conflict, signaling that the story will wrap up with the next release in the Spring issue. Many fans now believe Black Clover will end sooner than Chainsaw Man or even the continuation of Jujutsu Kaisen. Having run for over ten years, Black Clover continued its story even after moving to a different magazine. Its ending next month will conclude a remarkably long manga series, a feat few others can match.
With Black Clover nearing its conclusion in the next issue, another popular manga, Sakamoto Days, might also be ending soon. It’s been building towards a final battle for over six months, so a finale could be announced any time now – similar to how Chainsaw Man unexpectedly announced its end. Plus, Blue Lock has also entered its final arc. This year could see the conclusion of several major Shueisha shonen series, so fans shouldn’t be shocked if some end relatively quickly.
