Al Pacino is saying hello to his inner circle.
Al Pacino rarely attends public events, but he showed up to support his daughter Julie Pacino at the premiere of her film, I Live Here Now, on March 12th. He was accompanied by his 25-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia.
At an event in California, 85-year-old Al Pacino made his red carpet debut with his twins, born to Beverly D’Angelo. Al and his son Anton both wore dark clothing, while his daughter Olivia chose a red sweater and jeans for a relaxed look.
The group also spent time with Al Pacino’s daughter, Julie, age 36, whom he shares with Jan Tarrant. They took some fun photos together, even throwing up peace signs. Al also has a 2-year-old son, Roman, with his former partner, Noor Alfallah.
This recent family outing happened more than six years after Al and his oldest children went to the 2020 Oscars together. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor that year for his work in The Irishman, but Brad Pitt won the award. Al’s last Oscar win was in 1992 for Scent of a Woman, where he played Frank, a blind, retired veteran.
Although he’s still pleased with that award, Al recently acknowledged Julie’s help in getting him ready for the role.
He recalled a moment last June when his oldest daughter, who was three years old at the time, perfectly imitated a blind person. He asked her to ‘do a blind person’ on a whim, and she did it flawlessly. He was amazed by her natural talent, realizing children possess a unique kind of genius and can often perform impressively without any prior instruction or practice.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade shared that his older children have helped him refine his work over time with their creative ideas. He also said his youngest son, Roman, has given him a boost of energy and inspired him to reach a new level.
In a 2024 interview with the BBC, he expressed his desire to be present in his child’s life, saying, “I really want to be there for him, and I’m hoping I can.” He also added that he hopes to remain healthy so his son knows who he is.
Al described their close connection, saying, “He’s genuine in everything he does, and I find everything he does interesting. We talk a lot, and we even play harmonica together over video chat. It’s just really enjoyable.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always admired families in all their forms! It’s wonderful to see life’s surprises, and this is a beautiful example. This Oscar-winning actor was already a dad to Julie Marie, born in 1989 with Jan Tarrant, and twins Anton James and Olivia Rose, born in 2001 with Beverly D’Angelo. Then, at the age of 83, he became a father again, bringing his total to four children – a testament to family and love at any age!
I’m thrilled to share some wonderful news! Al Pacino recently became a dad again! His representative confirmed on June 15th, 2023, that he and his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, welcomed a baby boy named Roman Pacino. It’s such a joyful time for him and his family!
Before his baby was born on June 6th, Al Pacino told a photographer, “This is very special. It always has been. I have several children, but this one feels particularly meaningful at this point in my life.”

Robert De Niro, the two-time Oscar winner, became a father again at age 79. He and his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, welcomed their daughter, Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, on April 6, 2023. This was De Niro’s seventh child.
Robert De Niro has six children. He adopted his eldest, Drena De Niro, in 1976 when he married her mother, Diahnne Abbot. He and Diahnne also had a son together, Raphael De Niro. De Niro later had twins, Julian and Airyn, with Touki Smith, and then a son, Elliot, and a daughter, Helen Grace, with his second wife, Grace Hightower.
The actor explained to Access Hollywood that being a good father means understanding you have a duty to your children.
He admitted the situation was puzzling and thrilling, but also frightening, and that everyone was simply doing their best to cope.

I’m always inspired by people who seem to radiate youthfulness, and Jeff Goldblum is a perfect example! Many were surprised to learn he became a dad again at 62, welcoming his son Charlie Ocean with his wife, Emilie Livingston, on the 4th of July in 2015. And then, just a couple of years later, in April 2017, they added another little one to the family, a brother named River Joe. It just goes to show you, family can happen at any age!
In 2022, Goldlbum called being a dad at 70 “revivifying”—because, of course he did.
He excitedly shared on TODAY that watching Emilie thrive in her new position was incredible, calling her “heroic beyond imagination.” He also described parenting as both incredibly difficult and rewarding, explaining that young children can be wild and unpredictable, but also wonderfully sweet and amazing.

Mick Jagger, the iconic singer of the Rolling Stones, is still enjoying being a father. He welcomed his eighth child, son Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, with ballerina Melanie Hamrick on December 8, 2016, when he was 73 years old.
Mick Jagger has eight children with five different women. He shares daughter Karis Hunt Jagger (born November 4, 1970) with Marsha Hunt. With his first wife, Bianca Pérez-Mora Macias, he has daughter Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger (born October 21, 1971). He and longtime partner Jerry Hall have four children: daughters Elizabeth “Lizzy” Scarlett Jagger (born March 2, 1984) and Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger (born January 12, 1992), and sons James Leroy Augustin Jagger (born 1985) and Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger (born 1987). Finally, he has son Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger (born 1999) with Luciana Gimenez.
Meanwhile, the granddad of five is also a great-grandfather to daughter Jade’s two granddaughters.
Years ago, when asked about the challenges of being a dad while also being a rock star, Mick explained that being a good parent is simply hard, no matter your job. He emphasized that it takes a lot of effort and time. He noted seeing his children while touring, and while they sometimes misbehaved – he chuckled, acknowledging they had a lot of freedom – he realized their behavior often mirrored his own.
It’s just… they were SO defiant! Like, I’d tell them it was bedtime, and they’d just… not listen! Or getting them up in the morning was a battle. My husband noticed it too, he said they were getting into this whole ‘rock ‘n’ roll routine’ – totally staying up late and refusing to cooperate! Honestly, it was shocking! They’re only six years old, and already acting like little rebels! It was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is happening already?!’ I’m completely obsessed with everything they do, and even this little phase is fascinating… and a little exhausting!

Like his band’s singer, Rolling Stones guitarist and father of six Ronnie Wood is a romantic at heart. He has six children, including twin daughters, Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, with his third wife, Sally Humphreys. The twins were born on May 30, 2016, just two days before Ronnie turned 69.
In September 2018, Sally shared with Hello! magazine that she and Ronnie were very content and thankful for their lives together.
The twins always enjoyed visiting their dad at work, the recording studio. They’d put on their ear protection, and he’d let them play with all the controls on the mixing board. It was clear the girls had their father completely charmed.

Rod Stewart was 60 years old when he and his wife Penny Lancaster had their son Alastair Wallace Stewart in 2005. Their second son, Aiden Patrick Stewart, was born in 2011 when Rod was 66.
Rod was 65 years old when he finally met Sarah Streeter, the daughter he had as a teenager with Susannah Boffey and placed for adoption. After her adoptive mother passed away in 2010, Sarah explained, “Rod has become a significant part of my life, and I believe that’s no accident. We’re beginning a new relationship, which is great.”
Rod Stewart has six children from three different relationships. He shares daughter Kimberly Stewart (born August 21, 1979) and son Sean Stewart (born September 1, 1980) with his first wife, Alana Hamilton. He also has a daughter, Ruby Stewart (born June 17, 1987), with Kelly Emberg. With his second wife, Rachel Hunter, he has a daughter, Renee (born June 1, 1992), and a son, Liam (born September 5, 1994).

Paul McCartney and his wife Linda Eastman McCartney, who passed away in 1998, were parents to three children: daughters Mary and Stella, and son James. He also helped raise Linda’s daughter, Heather, as his own.
Paul McCartney was 61 years old when his daughter, Beatrice, was born to his second wife, Heather Mills, on October 28, 2003. He and Heather divorced in 2008, and he married Nancy Shevell in 2011.
Speaking about fatherhood, the Beatles legend shared on his website in January 2023 that he’s always tried to offer his children advice when they needed it, especially when they were younger. Now that they’re grown up, he says they’re the ones giving him guidance. While they don’t require much advice these days, he’s glad to be there for them if they ever face a problem.

The famous actor, who later became an Academy Award-winning director, has eight children. He and his then-wife, Dina Ruiz, had their daughter, Morgan Eastwood, on December 12, 1996, when he was 66 years old.
He didn’t meet his oldest daughter, Laurie Murray, until she was in her 30s. Born in 1954, she was given up for adoption, but she found him in the 1980s and they’ve been in touch ever since.
Clint Eastwood has six children from different relationships. He shares Kimber Lynn Eastwood (born June 17, 1964) with Roxanne Tunis. With his first wife, Maggie Johnson, he has musician son Kyle Eastwood (born May 19, 1968) and daughter Alison Eastwood (born May 22, 1972). He also has son Scott Eastwood (born March 21, 1986) and daughter Kathryn Ann Eastwood (born February 2, 1988) with Jaclyn Reeves, and daughter Francesca Eastwood (born August 7, 1993) with former partner Frances Fisher.
The Dirty Harry star also has five grandchildren.
Scott, who grew up in Hawaii and later moved to California to live with his father and finish high school, described his dad as “old-school” in a 2016 interview with Esquire. He explained that his father instilled in him the importance of honesty and a strong work ethic—always being punctual, reliable, and dedicated.

Seriously, it was just adults around Martin for years. Then, when he was 67 – can you believe it?! – he and Anne Stringfield, his second wife, had a daughter in early 2013. But get this – they’ve never revealed her name, or even shown a single picture! It’s like she doesn’t even exist to the public, and it just drives me crazy! I need to know everything about her!
Steve Martin once said that he wouldn’t have been a good father if he’d had children earlier in his life. He explained to AARP The Magazine in 2017 that he was too focused on his career to give his children the attention they deserved.
Looking back on his life, he realized it had been a steady climb toward genuine and lasting happiness.

Lust for Life was the name of the game for the two-time Oscar winner and father of 12.
Quinn had a large family, with children from four different relationships. He had five children with his first wife, Katherine DeMille (daughter of Cecil B. DeMille), three with Jolanda Addolori, and two each with Friedel Dunbar and his eventual third wife, Katherine Benvin. He married Katherine Benvin in 1997 when he was 82 years old. At that time, their daughter, Antonia Patricia Rose Quinn, was four, and their son, Ryan Nicholas Quinn, was just seventeen months old.
The actor and Benvin were together until his death at 86 in 2001.
In 2000, appearing on Larry King Live, Anthony reflected on his life as a father while living in Rhode Island. He explained that he felt particularly close to his two youngest children, saying he was ‘absolutely madly in love’ with them. While he loved all his children, he hadn’t been able to spend as much time with the others. He emphasized his dedication to his youngest, stating he hadn’t spent a single day away from them except for one, which he regretted.

Charlie Chaplin, the famous star of silent films and creator of the “Little Tramp” character, had two sons, Charles Spencer Chaplin III (born May 5, 1925) and Sydney Earl Chaplin (born March 30, 1926), with his second wife, Lita Grey. He later had eight children with his fourth wife, Oona O’Neill, whom he married in 1943 when she was just 18 and he was 54 – a union that upset her father, the playwright Eugene O’Neill.
Chaplin and his partner remained together until his death in 1977 at the age of 88. They had eight children: Geraldine Leigh (born July 31, 1944), Michael John (born March 7, 1946), Josephine Hannah (born March 28, 1949), Victoria Agnes (born May 19, 1951), Eugene Anthony (born August 23, 1953), Jane Cecil (born May 1957), Annette Emily (born December 1959), and Christopher James (born July 8, 1962).
Chaplin was 73 when Christopher was born.
In the 1992 film Chaplin, starring Robert Downey Jr., Geraldine played her own grandmother, Hannah Chaplin, a woman who had three sons with different fathers. She remembered that her household only showed Charlie Chaplin films. In an interview with the Baltimore Sun, she explained, “We weren’t forbidden from seeing other movies, but only Chaplin films were shown at home.” She believed this was because Chaplin was insecure and didn’t want anyone to think other comedians, like Laurel and Hardy, were as good as him.

Elton John was known for his relentless touring throughout the 1970s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. In 2010, at age 63, he and his husband, David Furnish, began a new decade by welcoming their son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, born via surrogate on December 25th. The same surrogate mother later gave birth to their second son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, on January 11, 2013.
I remember reading John’s interview with The Mirror back in 2016, and it really struck me. He said having kids completely transformed his life, and what resonated most was his realization that those small, everyday moments with them – even just a single minute – became more precious to him than all his success, all his possessions, even his art. It was a beautiful thing to hear.
Furnish, who is twelve years younger than John, shared with the U.K.’s Sunday Times in 2015 that he was thankful to have become a parent when he did. He explained that nothing can truly prepare you for the responsibilities and life changes that come with it, and that he felt more confident in his career now than he would have twenty years prior.

The Piano Man welcomed daughter Alexa Ray Joel with second wife Christie Brinkley on Dec. 29, 1985.
Years later, at age 66, he became a father again with his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, when their daughter, Della Rose Joel, was born on August 12, 2015. Their family grew with the arrival of another daughter, Remy Anne Joel, on October 22, 2017.
Billy shared how great it felt to become a dad after his son, Remy, was born. When asked about being involved in childcare, he jokingly responded that people assume celebrities aren’t present in their children’s lives, but he and his partner are fully engaged – up when the baby’s up, and sleeping when the baby sleeps.

The famous talk show host was married eight times – to seven different women, including Alene Akins twice (between 1961 and 1972). He was also a father to five children.
He was sadly preceded in death by his son, Andy, age 65, and his daughter, Chai, age 51, who both passed away in 2020 – Andy from a heart attack and Chai from lung cancer, and their deaths occurred within weeks of one another.
I was so saddened to hear about Larry’s passing in 2021 at the age of 87. He leaves behind a family, including his son Larry Jr., born in 1961 to him and his second wife, Annette Kaye. He also had two sons, Chance, born in March 1999 when Larry was 65, and Cannon, born in May 2000, with his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick. It’s a testament to his long life that he had children across so many decades.
In a 2015 interview with The Guardian, he explained that before his twins, Chance and Cannon, his career was his top priority. He loved his children and strived to be a good dad, but work always came first. He later realized this came at a cost, as family life is ultimately the most important thing.
