Alexandra Kay is keeping out of the Keith Urban and Maggie Baugh narrative.
Following Keith Urban’s divorce from Nicole Kidman, with whom he has two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, sources are curious about a possible romantic connection between him and a guitarist.
Alexandra told Taste of Country in an interview on October 22nd that the claims were completely false. She admitted she felt really bad for the people involved, explaining that the amount of attention and harsh things said by the media were overwhelming. She specifically mentioned that rumors about Maggie Baugh were upsetting, as she considers Maggie a good friend.
The singer of “How Do We Go” shared that her friend is currently dating someone else, and made it clear she wasn’t involved in Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s split.
“I’ve met her boyfriend,” Alexandra continued. “She’s very happy.”
Keith sparked rumors shortly after it was confirmed he and his wife of 19 years, the star of Big Little Lies, were separating. During a concert last month, the 57-year-old altered the lyrics to his song “The Fighter”—which many believe is about his relationship with Nicole—to praise his guitarist who was performing with him on stage.
In a video Maggie posted on Instagram on September 27th, Keith playfully changed the lyrics to his song. Instead of singing about being a fighter, he sang that he’d be Maggie’s guitar player when people try to bother her.
Alongside the moment, Maggie gushed in the clip, “Did he just say that?”
Despite being on his High and Alive tour, Keith dismissed any hidden messages in his recent shows, and criticized fans for overanalyzing his changes to the lyrics of his song “You’ll Think of Me.”

You know, after years in this industry, I’ve learned one thing: people love to overthink things! I was chatting with a crowd in Nashville recently, and I had to remind everyone to just relax and not read too much into everything. Sometimes, a thing is just a thing, and it’s okay to leave it at that.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban quietly separated and began living separately around the start of summer, according to TopMob News. Several significant events throughout the summer then contributed to their decision to file for divorce.

His High and Alive World Tour began in Alabama, and he toured throughout the summer, performing in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

They were last seen together in public at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Nashville, and seemed to be enjoying themselves, laughing and smiling.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in June. Kidman shared a photo of them with the sweet message, ‘Happy Anniversary Baby.’ Urban responded with a heart emoji, but didn’t make a separate post of his own.

People were surprised when the country singer suddenly stopped an interview after a question about Nicole Kidman’s connection with Zac Efron in the movie A Family Affair.
A radio host on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning wondered how Keith Urban feels when he sees his wife, Nicole Kidman, in romantic scenes with younger actors like Zac Efron in her many movies and TV shows.
Suddenly, Urban disappeared from the call.
A radio staff member announced that he was no longer connected on Zoom, and they believed his team had intentionally ended the call to avoid answering a particular question.
His rep didn’t respond to TopMob’s request for comment at the time.

I’m hearing through the grapevine that Nicole Kidman is actually applying for Portuguese residency! And it sounds like her husband, Keith Urban, is planning to join her. It’s always exciting to see celebrities embracing new cultures and potentially making a big lifestyle change – Portugal is a beautiful place, and I can definitely see the appeal!
According to a source familiar with the matter, Keith couldn’t attend the appointment in Portugal because he’s currently touring the U.S. Applying for the visa requires a personal appearance, so he’ll submit his application when his tour schedule allows.
At the time, the source said both planned to maintain a permanent residence in Nashville as well.

In a recent interview, the couple’s oldest daughter, Sunday Rose, revealed that her parents have just two main rules at home.
She explained to Nylon that she wasn’t allowed to pursue fashion-related work until she turned sixteen, and that her parents always prioritized school. While she initially disliked these rules, she now appreciates them, saying they help her stay focused and maintain a positive attitude.

Nicole Kidman posted a collection of summer photos on Instagram featuring her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, but her husband wasn’t included in the pictures.
“Summer memories,” the actress wrote. “Now back to school.”

I remember back in August, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s lawyer filed a parenting plan, and it included a child support worksheet. What really stood out to me was that it officially stated they would be “joint custodians” of their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. It was great to see that clearly laid out!
The Oscar-winning actor was designated as the main parent for the children, meaning the girls live with their mother for 306 days each year and with their father (Keith Urban) every other weekend, totaling 59 days.
Neither will pay child support, according to the doc obtained by TopMob News.
Despite being divorced, the parents will maintain a loving, stable, and supportive relationship with their child. They agree to avoid speaking negatively about each other or each other’s families, and they will support their child’s relationship with both parents, ensuring the child feels comfortable in both households.

Urban finalized their divorce agreement, having it officially notarized in August, according to documents obtained by TopMob News.
According to the document, Kidman plans to divorce him because they have differences they can’t resolve. The agreement also specifies that neither of them will receive financial support from the other after the divorce.
The same date, he also signed off on the Parenting Plan.

A week after Urban, the actress finalized the divorce paperwork by getting it notarized and signing the parenting plan.
Okay, so I just found out a judge basically ordered them to go to parenting classes! Unless they can somehow get out of it, they have to do this seminar. TopMob News had the documents, and honestly, I’ve been refreshing the page all day. I just… I need them to be good parents, you know? It’s a relief to see something is being done, even if it’s this. I’m just so invested in their family, I can’t help but obsess over every little detail!

Even though she had already signed the legal papers, she continued to wear her engagement ring when she attended an event at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles.

The split between the couple, who began dating in 2005, was widely reported by TopMob News after they quietly decided to end their relationship.

The actress known for Big Little Lies has officially filed for divorce, stating that they separated on September 30, 2025.
The couple officially filed their divorce and parenting plan with a Tennessee court for approval on the same day.
