Alix Earle Details Feeling “Pretty Lost” During Hot Mess Podcast Pause

Alix Earle has found her way through the static.

The influencer recently revealed details about her split with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network, explaining her thoughts when her Hot Mess podcast unexpectedly stopped in March 2025.

Honestly, I was totally lost for a while there! I was just asking myself what I should even do with my content. But then it hit me – I needed to start vlogging. It felt like the only thing that made sense, you know? I was telling everyone about it on TikTok on March 23rd, I was so excited!

Looking back on the past year, the 25-year-old remembers watching her sister, Penelope Earle, compete in an equestrian event while simultaneously dealing with legal issues on the phone. Despite the stressful situation, she now recognizes how much she has grown and overcome since then.

Looking back, I remember feeling totally lost and confused about everything happening in my life. It’s funny, though, because now it feels like a distant memory – I almost forgot I even went through that! It really shows you the power of time. Honestly, I truly believe things happen for a reason, and that period was part of my journey for a reason too.

Despite Alix telling WSJ. Magazine last year that she planned to revive and improve her Hot Mess podcast, it hasn’t returned yet.

She described leaving the Unwell Network as a bit chaotic internally, but she hasn’t publicly explained exactly what happened during her departure.

However, Alex continues to insist there was no conflict, even though people online are saying otherwise.

In a March 2025 Instagram Story, the host of Call Her Daddy wrote, “I’ve seen your comments.” She clarified that Alix’s inability to continue podcasting isn’t related to the Unwell network, adding, “I don’t know why she can’t or what’s happening, but Unwell gave her everything and she owns her intellectual property.”

Alix reminded her followers in a TikTok video that the saying “this too shall pass” is often true – a message she admitted she needed to hear herself. She’s been open about the difficult emotions she’s experienced since her breakup with Braxton Berrios in late 2025.

In a recent video, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant shared that they’re feeling much improved and more like their usual self, especially compared to how they felt last month. They added that this experience was a good reminder to appreciate the present moment, and they anticipate looking back on their current worries a year from now with a sense of perspective.

After people wondered for months if they were dating, Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios officially appeared as a couple at the 2023 ESPYS in July.

The NFL player posted a cute picture in late September of the TikTok star cheering him on from the sidelines.

Alix shared this PDA pic on Instagram in October, writing, “hbd nfl man.”

The couple took a trip to the Bahamas in November during the Miami Dolphins’ bye week.

Braxton posted a series of pics from the getaway on his Instagram page, writing, “Worth the wait.”
