
Alix Earle is sharing a personal update on her family.
The Hot Mess host confirmed that her mom Alisa Earle has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Alix shared a video on Instagram and TikTok on January 11th celebrating her mother, who was in the hospital. She wrote, “Go momma! So proud and inspired by you.”
You’re strong enough to overcome anything and emerge even better,” she said. “I love you! #breastcancerawareness
The video, which includes the message “fk cancer,” shows Alix and her sister Ashtin Earle supporting their mom. Alisa shares her children, Alix and Ashtin, with her ex-husband, Thomas “TJ” Earle.
Alix, a recent contestant on Dancing With the Stars, revealed in a TikTok comment that her mother received a diagnosis around the middle of the show’s season. Despite this, her mom Alisa continued to attend every week to cheer her on.
People are sending lots of supportive messages to the Earles family on social media as they continue to navigate Alisa’s health challenges.
I was so touched to see Paris Hilton and Heidi Montag sending Alix so much love and support on TikTok! Paris commented ‘Sending love and prayers for your mom sis,’ and Heidi wrote a beautiful message saying she’s praying for Alix, her family, and especially her mom. It’s so heartwarming to see them rally around her during this tough time.
Alix recently mentioned her mother was unwell, revealing in a TikTok video that Alisa had been hospitalized for surgery.
Being back in New Jersey feels good. Honestly, I’m still processing everything and figuring out how much I’ll share this week. Right now, my priority is simply being a supportive friend and being there for her – that’s what matters most to me at the moment.
After a whirlwind trip to four countries in just a few days, the influencer admitted to having a few emotional moments. Thankfully, her sister and boyfriend were there to support her this morning.
Alix explained they’re picking her up from the hospital tomorrow morning and will be caring for her at home.

It’s been so tough following Alisa’s health battle, and it’s really resonated with me. It’s made me think about all the other celebrities who’ve bravely shared their own experiences with cancer, and I’ve been wanting to learn more about their stories too.
While the Earles deal with Alisa’s health challenges, here’s a look at other celebrities who have shared their experiences with cancer.

As a longtime observer of health and wellness, I was saddened to hear that the former All My Children star revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis back in January 2025. Sadly, this isn’t his first battle with the disease – it’s actually his third cancer diagnosis, and I’m sending him all my best wishes for a full recovery.

In December 2024, the star of The Golden Bachelor revealed he had been diagnosed with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, a type of bone cancer.

Two-time Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman successfully completed cancer treatment. His representative confirmed to TopMob News that doctors declared him cured after surgery.

Hugh Jackman, known for his role in X-Men, was treated for skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) for the third time in 2014. After the treatment, his representative confirmed to TopMob News that he was fully recovered.
In April 2023, Hugh received two biopsies after discovering he had more basal cell carcinomas. He used the opportunity to remind his fans in the northern hemisphere to protect their skin by wearing sunscreen as summer approached.

The former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills marked a year of being cancer-free in January. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013 and had a hysterectomy as part of her treatment.
Then in 2017, Camille had surgery to remove Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a type of skin cancer.

The celebrity chef from Britain revealed he had skin cancer treated with a medical procedure. He shared photos showing stitches – a line from below his ear to his jaw – which he later covered with a bandage.
Gordon shared on Instagram in August 2025 that he was thankful for the amazing team at The Skin Associates who quickly removed his Basal Cell Carcinoma. He also reminded everyone to wear sunscreen this weekend.
“I promise you it’s not a face lift,” he added. “I’d need a refund…”

Actress Cobie Smulders, known for her role in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, bravely fought ovarian cancer at 25. She later defied expectations by having two children with her husband, Taran Killam.

A television personality shared that he had surgery for prostate cancer in July 2013 and has been cancer-free ever since.

After successfully fighting off stage-four testicular cancer, the cyclist went on to win an incredible seven consecutive Tour de France championships.
After successfully battling breast cancer with a lumpectomy and chemotherapy in 2005, the Grammy and Oscar winner became a dedicated activist.

The comedian, known for her work on Saturday Night Live, bravely turned her experience with breast cancer into humor, which became the basis for her acclaimed one-woman show, God Said Ha!, that ultimately played on Broadway.
