All 5 Marvel Movie & TV Releases Still to Come in 2026 After Spider-Noir

The positive reception of Spider-Noir adds to a strong year for Marvel projects, but there’s still more to come for comic book fans. Since 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been the driving force behind superhero entertainment, consistently delivering popular movies and TV shows based on Marvel Comics. But the MCU isn’t the only place to find great Marvel stories. Several exciting projects released outside of the MCU have also proven successful. In fact, the overall popularity of superhero content is starting to rival the MCU, with these independent Marvel projects performing just as well, and sometimes even better.

The popularity of the new show Spider-Noir shows there’s a strong demand for more Marvel content. Luckily, the rest of 2026 looks promising! After Spider-Noir, several other Marvel movies and TV shows are planned or expected to be released. Here’s a complete list of what you can look forward to before the year ends.

5) Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Following the release of Spider-Noir, Marvel’s next big project is Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This movie will continue Spider-Man’s story from where No Way Home ended in 2021, focusing on more local, street-level adventures. It will also include appearances by the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31st and is already one of the most eagerly awaited Marvel films of 2026.

4) Avengers: Doomsday

Fans are eagerly awaiting the 2026 release of Avengers: Doomsday. Seven years after Avengers: Endgame, this film will bring the Avengers back to theaters with a mix of familiar and new heroes. Several established Marvel characters will return, alongside some new faces making their first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Doomsday is slated to hit theaters on December 18th and will be the last Marvel movie released that year.

3) X-Men ’97 Season 2

Among recent Marvel TV shows, X-Men ’97 has resonated with viewers more than most. It was created as both a sequel to and a tribute to the classic 1990s X-Men animated series, and quickly gained a large and enthusiastic fanbase after its first season premiered. The show’s second season is scheduled for release in Summer 2026, so fans won’t have to wait too long for the next installment.

2) Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Although Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man isn’t necessarily the best animated Spider-Man series, it was popular enough for a second season to be greenlit soon after it premiered. Season 2 will continue the story from where the first season ended and will introduce exciting new characters like Gwen Stacy as Ghost Spider and Venom. These additions have created a lot of buzz, and fans are eagerly awaiting the season 2 release in Fall 2026.

1) VisionQuest

After years of development, VisionQuest is expected to continue Vision’s story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2026. Fans haven’t seen the character since WandaVision and are eagerly awaiting his return, especially alongside some of the MCU’s biggest villains and other new faces. VisionQuest is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 14th.
