With the conclusion of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, there’s plenty more to anticipate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU has become a massive franchise, bringing the characters and stories from Marvel Comics to life in both movies and TV shows. While it started with films, the MCU’s television projects have gained critical and fan acclaim, and seem to be hitting their stride as the Multiverse Saga unfolds, with several shows proving very successful.
With the recent finale of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, another successful Marvel Cinematic Universe series has wrapped up, continuing the story of the popular Daredevil character from where season 1 left off. But the good news for fans doesn’t stop there! Marvel has a lot more TV shows planned. Here’s a complete list of all the upcoming MCU shows, with details on when you can expect to see them, now that Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has finished.
7) The Punisher: One Last Kill

Jon Bernthal is returning as the Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Following his performance in Born Again season 1, he’ll star in a special feature called The Punisher: One Last Kill, which will be released on Disney+ on May 12, 2026. This special will lead into his appearance in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. The Punisher: One Last Kill is the next TV project from the MCU, following the second season of Born Again.
6) Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

It’s no surprise Spider-Man is back for another season of the animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The show takes place in a different universe where Norman Osborn guides Peter Parker, and season 2 is currently expected to arrive in late 2026. While not directly connected to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s still a release fans are really looking forward to.
5) X-Men ’97 Season 2

Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of X-Men ’97 after the huge success of its first season. The show is a continuation of the popular X-Men animated series from the 1990s, and season two is currently expected in mid-2026. With season one performing so well, X-Men ’97 season two is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most anticipated upcoming shows, and a third season has already been greenlit.
4) VisionQuest

The finale of WandaVision, which aired in 2021, hinted at a future storyline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That story will finally come to fruition in late 2026 with VisionQuest. The new project will explore what happens to Vision after he was brought back to life in WandaVision, resolving a long-standing unanswered question for fans. VisionQuest is expected to feature Vision alongside other familiar faces from the MCU, making it a highly anticipated release.
3) Wonder Man Season 2

The Disney+ show Wonder Man, a recent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has been renewed for a second season. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II first appeared as Simon Williams in early 2026, introducing Wonder Man as a potentially major new hero in the MCU. While the show will continue, a release date for season 2 hasn’t been revealed yet.
2) Marvel Zombies Season 2

Even though the first season of Marvel Zombies got a mixed reaction, it’s been renewed for a second season. The show is inspired by the Marvel Comics series of the same name and can be seen as a continuation of the zombie-themed storylines from the What If…? series. Currently, Marvel Zombies season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in late 2026 or 2027, but there’s no confirmed release date yet.
1) Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

Fans are eagerly awaiting the third season of Daredevil: Born Again, which is expected to continue the story right after the events of season 2 and bring back many beloved characters. Currently scheduled for a March 2027 release, the new season will further develop the world of street-level heroes within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially as they continue to fight against Kingpin and other threats.
