To capture both Kerotans and Ga-Kos, a task available in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, you’ll have to visit Dolinovodno on your second expedition there. Keep in mind that these particular species are distinct from those encountered during the Virtuous Mission.
In simpler terms, Kerotans – which are similar to frog-shaped toys from the original MGS3 game, can be found in the same locations as in earlier versions. Conversely, Ga-Kos are duck figures equipped with ghillie suits, and they’re unique to Delta. Find them when you see them to “collect” them. Gather all of them to receive some trophies and unlock some exceptionally strong new camouflage!
Right away, let’s discuss where to find these collectibles in Dolinovodno during Operation Snake Eater!

Virtuous Mission vs Operation Snake Eater
At the outset, it’s essential to mention a caveat about this particular region: If you haven’t secured the Kerotans and Ga-Kos during the Virtuous Mission, you won’t find them now. They have since vanished, having been replaced by new ones as part of Operation Snake Eater. The ones we’ll focus on here are these newly introduced ones.
During one game, it’s not necessary to smash all of the toys. If you missed some, you can start a fresh game and focus on those specific ones. Regardless, they will be added to your account total. For more information on finding the Dolinovodno (Virtuous Mission) Kerotan and Ga-Ko locations, feel free to consult our guide.
Kerotan #1
On your return trip as part of The Virtuous Expedition, similar to before, there’s just one Kerotan hidden in Dolinovodno. On this occasion, make your way to the far north end of the bridge.
Once you’ve passed over the bridge, make a right turn and orient yourself toward the east. On the rocky slope ahead, you’ll find the striking Kerotan with its vibrant green form. Its contrast with the surrounding dense jungle makes it quite noticeable – perfect for our purposes!
Ga-Ko #1
Instead of looking for the Ga-Ko in exactly the same spot as where you found the Kerotan, try shifting your gaze slightly lower and a bit to the right. You’ll notice some unusual “grass” that doesn’t quite blend with its surroundings – this is the Ga-Ko’s camouflage suit. Aim at it and fire to reveal the Ga-Ko!
For your convenience, the screenshot provided above reveals the Ga-Ko once it has been unveiled. It should now be more apparent where it is hiding, given its stealthy camouflage at night – quite an artful disguise indeed, to the point that one might say even a snake could pick up some tricks from it!
And there you have it – all the Kerotans and Ga-Kos that you can discover during your second visit to Dolinovodno in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Although there aren’t many, remember that this is a relatively small area.
