All the Best Best Dressed Celebrities on the Red Carpet at the Oscars

The Academy just might need to add a Best Dressed category.

The 2026 Oscars red carpet at the Dolby Theatre was brimming with potential award winners. Among those attending the March 15th ceremony was Chase Infiniti, star of One Battle After Another, who made a stunning appearance in a custom lilac gown by Louis Vuitton, complete with a ruffled train and De Beers jewelry.

At the event, Hamnet director Chloé Zhao made a statement in a dramatic, ruffled gothic gown and veil by Gabriela Hearst. Chanel was a popular choice among stars, with Teyana Taylor accessorizing her look with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, and Nicole Kidman stunning in a Chanel peplum dress. As a lifestyle expert, I always say the Oscars are about so much more than just the red carpet! While the stars won’t win an award for their fashion, tonight is packed with potential wins. And this year, Sinners is making history! It’s broken the record for the most nominations ever at the awards, racking up a stunning 16! I’m especially excited to see if Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku, and Delroy Lindo take home awards for their incredible performances.

I’m so excited that Sinners is nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars! It’s going up against some incredible films like Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Bugonia, Train Dreams, F1, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Frankenstein, and Sentimental Value. I’m already checking to see who’s won so far this year!

Although the competition isn’t as fierce as it is for Best Dressed, several Oscar categories are still very open. The Best Supporting Actress award, with nominees including Wunmi, Teyana, Amy Madigan, Elle Fanning, and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, is particularly unpredictable – anyone could win.

For example, Teyana Taylor won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in One Battle After Another. Similarly, Amy Madigan received both a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award for her supporting performance in Weapons.

At the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs), Wunmi won, suggesting that the usual predictions for who will win the Academy Award might not be accurate this year.

The Best Actor category is also difficult to call, with nominees including Michael, Timothée Chalamet, Wagner Moura, and Leonardo DiCaprio and Ethan Hawke. The star of Marty Supreme won both the Critics Choice and a Golden Globe for his role, while Wagner Moura, from The Secret Agent, also received a Golden Globe, and Michael, starring in Sinners, won an Actor Award.
