For the Rinna-Hamlin family, this was one of the biggest days of their lives.
Twenty-four-year-old Amelia Gray, the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, walked the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15th. She showcased two striking outfits: a black, embellished bra and brief set with cut-outs and silver accents, and a sheer red minidress with long sleeves and an open back, worn with a matching red thong.
As her daughter reached this important milestone, her mom realized it was the culmination of over ten years of effort and anticipation.
“Ever since I was around 8 years old, it’s been my dream to walk in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, and yesterday that dream came true!” wrote the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in a post on October 16th, sharing a photo of Amelia’s second runway look. She continued, “Your dedication and determination are incredible—you set a goal and achieve it.”
Lisa, who is also a mother to Delilah Hamlin, continued by saying, “Don’t doubt yourself! Don’t worry about whether you’re pretty enough or tall enough – just go for it! It’s amazing to see, you’re incredibly good at making your dreams come true, and congratulations – you did it! I’m so proud of you!”
She seemed to endorse the backless style, reposting a video from Vogue on October 15th. Vogue’s original caption celebrated the design, saying, “Let’s hear it for the back of the dress!”

Lisa pointed out on Instagram that the controversy surrounding the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a bit much, considering its purpose. “It’s always been about selling a sexy image,” she explained. “That’s just how it works.”
She added that people need to reconnect with their confidence and embrace their sexuality. She said this directly to those who are easily shocked or offended.
The *Days of Our Lives* actress continued to praise her daughter online, sharing several photos and videos on her Instagram Story. She also responded to criticism aimed at her daughter and the other Victoria’s Secret models regarding their clothing.
Lisa pointed out on Instagram that the criticism surrounding the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and its emphasis on sex appeal is misplaced. “It *is* a show designed to sell a certain image,” she explained, “and that’s just how it works.”
She added that people need to reconnect with their confidence and embrace their sexuality. She said this specifically to those who are easily shocked or offended.
