Batman is back on HBO Max! While the streaming service has a lot of great Batman content – including the popular Dark Knight movies and the classic Batman: The Animated Series – fans should also check out a lesser-known, but excellent, Batman show that now has new episodes available.
More episodes of the animated kids’ show Batwheels are now available on HBO Max! Season 3B premiered on February 6th with five new episodes, bringing the total number of Season 3 episodes to nine. While we don’t know how many episodes Season 3 will have in total or when the next batch will arrive, Batwheels usually has a lot of episodes per season—both Season 1 and Season 2 each had 37! You can stream all episodes of Batwheels on HBO Max.
Batwheels Is a Kid-Friendly Animated Show That Even Adults Will Love
Even though Batwheels is made for younger kids, it’s surprisingly enjoyable for all ages. The show cleverly combines elements that DC Comics fans will appreciate with fun, kid-friendly entertainment, making it a perfect introduction to the DC universe for little ones. It follows the adventures of Bam, Redbird, Batwing, Buff, and Bibi – Bat-vehicles with minds of their own – as they battle the “Legion of Zoom” in Gotham City, with Ethan Hawke providing a charming voice for Batman. Kids will love the show’s focus on teamwork and friendship, while older viewers can appreciate the fast-paced action that’s exciting but avoids the intense violence often found in other Batman stories.
Okay, so Batwheels isn’t going to be my new favorite Batman show, but honestly, it’s surprisingly good! It’s a really fun, lighthearted watch, and I wouldn’t mind my kids asking to see it again. The episodes are just the right length – only 15 minutes – and the animation is seriously impressive. It looks like something from Pixar or DreamWorks! Plus, it’s not just for kids; there’s humor and music that even I enjoy. It’s a really solid show, especially for a preschool series, and I’ve seen it air on Cartoonito too.
What’s New on HBO Max?
HBO Max is a popular streaming service because it offers a huge library of movies and shows. February brought even more content to the platform, with dozens of new titles added. Some of the movies now available to stream include Get Him to the Greek, Insidious: Chapter 3, Life of Pi, The Notebook, and The Spectacular Now.
