Andy Cohen knows firsthand the power of the Bravo fandom.
Following Bravo’s announcement that they’d finished investigating a leaked audio clip from the Summer House season 10 reunion, the network shared more details. Surprisingly, it wasn’t an internal investigation that solved the leak – a fan actually helped uncover how it happened.
On his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, Andy praised Bravo fans, saying they’re the best. He also specifically thanked the dedicated Bravo fan accounts, noting that none of them were responsible for leaking audio from the reunion.
The 57-year-old explained that the investigation team was already working on the problem. A fan of the show ‘Bravo’ – someone we’ll be hearing from later – was the one who figured it out and provided key details.
Andy didn’t reveal exactly what the fan did, but he did explain how he found out about the leak and how it affected everyone on Summer House.
Honestly, as someone who follows these shows closely, the leak was especially annoying because the cast had already put in a really long day – almost 10 hours! – filming all the complicated emotions surrounding the love triangle between Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller. It’s frustrating to see that hard work potentially spoiled before it even airs.
“I have to say it was truly not only one of the most emotional reunions that we’ve ever shot, but it was one of the most emotionally draining,” the Watch What Happens Live host explained. “There were so many emotions on that stage. Deep anger, deep hurt.”
He explained that the situation had a huge impact on everyone, more than he initially understood. Seeing and hearing directly from the housemates made it clear just how intensely they were affected.
Andy mentioned he went home after the reunion to get ready for eye surgery scheduled for April 24th. However, he was surprised and upset to discover an unauthorized audio recording of him had already been shared online that morning.
Honestly, it felt like a real betrayal. Seeing all that hard work – the cast opening up and being so vulnerable – and then having it leaked… it just completely undermines everything everyone put into this project. It diminishes the dedication of the entire cast and crew, and it’s incredibly disheartening. As someone who values the creative process, it’s a painful thing to witness.

The producer of The Real Housewives became even more upset when he saw people online blaming the cast for the leak and suggesting it was a deliberate attempt to influence how the show was edited. However, Andy immediately knew that wasn’t true, stating, “The cast did not leak this.”
Bravo immediately started looking into the leak, with Andy pointing out they were even examining the type of device used to record the audio. It wasn’t long before the network discovered the leak came from someone working on the reunion special.
As a longtime Bravo fan, I wasn’t even that shocked to hear about another reunion leak being discovered by viewers! Andy actually mentioned this has happened before. Apparently, a fan helped them figure out a leak for a really dramatic reunion in the past, but he’s keeping tight-lipped about which city and season it was. It just proves how dedicated we fans are – we notice everything!
He explained that he eventually spoke with the fan, who agreed to remove the post and reveal the source of the leak.
Andy said he found out who was responsible for something, but the person involved doesn’t realize he’s aware. He then explained that this situation damages the show’s credibility and disrespects the effort of everyone involved, adding that he and the viewers really enjoy the show.

Ciara Miller and West Wilson found love while filming season eight of Summer House in 2023, and their connection continued off-screen in real life.
However, their romance wouldn’t last long, with the costars breaking up at the end of that year.
Their difficult breakup created tension at the summer house for the next two years, as Ciara wrestled with whether to forgive the sports reporter for hurting her and potentially try to rebuild their relationship.

After a rocky four-year marriage, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke decided to separate just before the tenth season of their Bravo series was set to premiere in 2026.
The couple announced on Instagram on January 19th that they have decided to separate. They shared a joint statement saying the decision was mutual and friendly, and they asked for privacy and support as they both work on themselves and move forward.
Okay, so Amanda and Kyle – my absolute favorites – announced they’re going through a tough time, and honestly, my heart is breaking for them. They got married back in September 2021, and they said something that just got to me. They said it feels weird asking for privacy because they’ve always been so open about everything with their relationship, but they’d really appreciate everyone being kind and respectful while they figure things out. It’s just…ugh. I just want them to be happy, and I’m sending them all the good vibes they need right now. Seriously, please everyone, just be nice!
The show gave viewers an intimate look at the couple’s struggles as their relationship fell apart.

News that Amanda and West might be dating started circulating quickly after the gossip blog Deuxmoi reported on March 5th that the two actors were seen behaving flirtatiously in New York City.
Okay, so everyone was buzzing about me and this amazing woman, and I wanted to clear things up. I was on Watch What Happens Live recently and explained that she’s currently single, and honestly, I’ve been known to show new friends around New York City – it’s just something I do! It wasn’t anything more than that, just a fun time showing her the city after she became single.
The journalist said, “She’s a close friend – someone I really care about.”

After news spread about a possible relationship between West and Amanda, some of their colleagues talked about the rumors.
On March 29th, Carl Radke posted a confused-looking photo to his Instagram Stories. Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard followed suit, sharing similar expressions of confusion on their own social media accounts.
Austen Kroll, who appears on Bravo and is friends with several cast members of Summer House, shared a message on his Instagram Stories on March 29th. He wrote, “Pasta and dating your friends’ exes are apparently trending again.”

Amanda and West publicly confirmed the rumors in a joint statement posted on Instagram on March 31st.
We never meant to keep our relationship a secret,” the couple explained in an Instagram Story. “Because things were complicated, and being on a reality show means everyone’s watching, we needed some time to figure things out privately before talking about it.
We understand this situation has only affected us and we never intended to cause any pain or seem irresponsible. We’re grateful for your understanding and respect as we work through this.

Just as West and Amanda revealed they were dating, Ciara was seen looking upset in New York City with a friend. She also started getting support from friends and colleagues online, as people within the Bravo TV community began choosing sides in the dramatic love triangle.
Amanda’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, appeared to make light of their ongoing issues by sharing a selfie with Ciara on Instagram on March 30th.
Paige DeSorbo, known from Summer House, publicly showed her support for Ciara on Instagram, calling her “perfect.” Lindsay Hubbard and Dara Levitan, who joined the show this season, also voiced their support, with Lindsay simply writing “Perfection” and Dara adding, “And that’s how you do it.”

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.
He told journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted in April that he felt deeply betrayed. “He ended our friendship really quickly,” he said. “I just don’t understand – what happened to loyalty between friends?”
Kyle also insinuated West’s intentions were calculated.
He told Adam that West is skilled at understanding his audience and knows exactly how to appeal to women. People are praising West’s apparent change for the better, but he believes West was deliberately flattering them as a calculated tactic.

Ciara’s longtime BFF Paige DeSorbo made it clear whose side she’s on amid the fallout.
We’re truly there for Ciara, as a real friend should be,” said a Summer House cast member on the April 3rd episode of their Giggly Squad podcast. “We’re fully supporting her, and we would never try to profit from something so painful for her.”
Paige went on to share “the final thing” she was going to say about the situation.
Oh my gosh, Paige just gets Ciara, you guys! She said Ciara is this incredibly strong, smart, and capable woman, and I totally agree! But the best part? Paige said Ciara will share her side of things when she’s ready, and she’d never, ever try to speak for her. It’s just…respectful and perfect, honestly. Ciara deserves that, and Paige totally understands it!

After waiting a week to process things, Ciara finally spoke up and let everyone know how she was doing with a short message.
Ciara, at the premiere of Euphoria season three on April 7th, told Entertainment Tonight she’s doing well and is happy for Amanda and West as they navigate their public relationship.

Ciara showed she wasn’t bothered by Amanda and West’s new relationship, playfully dismissing it while she hosted the red carpet at the HBO Max premiere for the third season of Euphoria.
Ciara jokingly asked Sydney Sweeney, whose character often finds herself in complicated love lives on HBO, ‘If you start dating your friend’s ex, what happens next?’ This comment was made during an event on April 7th.
Sydney, who plays Cassie Howard on the show, reacted with discomfort when asked about her character starting a relationship with Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), the ex-boyfriend of her character’s best friend, Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie). She simply said, “It’s not good.”
As a longtime fan, I was so excited to hear Ciara, who’s 30, really put it out there – she basically told her partner, ‘It’s time we got married!’ She wasn’t shy at all about wanting to take the next step, and I couldn’t agree with her more.

Following a week of backlash, Amanda broke her silence to address angry fans.
In a recent Instagram post on April 10th, the 34-year-old apologized to those they had hurt or disappointed, particularly mentioning those they had contacted directly.
I’m trying to get back to a more normal life for my own well-being,” she explained. “If you see me out or online, please understand that I’m still deeply affected by everything that’s happened. I haven’t forgotten or dismissed it.
Plus, she promised fans will get more answers to their myriad of questions soon.
Amanda confirmed she’ll be at the reunion and promised to answer any questions openly and honestly while she’s there.

Almost three weeks after West and Amanda revealed their relationship, Ciara finally spoke directly about the controversy for the first time.
Ciara recently told Glamour magazine that dealing with personal heartbreak is hard enough, but having it happen publicly adds another level of difficulty. She specifically mentioned the added pain of watching her former life unfold on the tenth season of a show, calling it incredibly disorienting.
The woman, age 30, said she was much closer to Amanda before the scandal came to light. She also mentioned she and West were trying to improve their relationship at the time. Because of this closeness, she felt Amanda’s actions were a greater betrayal than West’s.
Ultimately, people will be people,” Ciara explained. “Regardless of whether or not things were working out with West, you can’t always predict what someone will do. What’s most shocking to me is that it came from Amanda, someone I considered a close friend and supporter for a long time. That’s what I find hardest to believe.
