Two Marvel stars are joining the cast of Apple TV’s next sci-fi thriller.
Vanessa Kirby, known for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, from Wonder Man, are set to star in a new action film called Liminal for Apple TV, as reported by Deadline. Louis Leterrier, the director of films like Fast X and Now You See Me, as well as the series Lupin and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, will be directing the movie. He’s also working on the upcoming Fast Forever.
Liminal is based on the graphic novel Telepaths by J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting, and Brian Reber. The story revolves around a strange electromagnetic event that gives 10% of people the power to read minds. This leads to a lot of conflict and tension as Boston police try to manage a group of these newly telepathic individuals.
