ARC Raiders Developer Outlines Streamlined Crafting Option, Promises More Improvements

If you haven’t played ARC Raiders recently and just updated with Flashpoint, you might be happy to see that crafting is much easier now. The new “Acquire Resources” button shows you exactly where to find all the materials you need.

Embark Studios explained they made this change because players found it frustrating to collect crafting materials. Players often already knew where to find the items – maybe through recycling or from Celeste – but navigating through multiple menus to actually get them was tedious and took away from the enjoyment of the game.

This tool only uses ingredients you already have and can access, saving you time searching through recipes and your pantry. While it doesn’t solve every cooking challenge, the creators are constantly working on improvements and new features.

We’re still working hard to fix all the annoying stuff in the game, and we’re tackling it step-by-step. You should see some improvements rolling out pretty soon!

You won’t have to wait long for the next big updates! While the current Flashpoint update introduces a new threat, map feature, and improved resource gathering, April promises even more. The upcoming Riven Tides update will add the first completely new map since Stella Montis, along with a major new story arc, a unique map condition, and a new opportunity to participate in an Expedition.

The main thing to watch for now is what Embark has planned for the rest of the year. They’ve mentioned they’re developing several new maps of varying sizes for 2026, so we might see some of those released soon. Keep checking back for the latest news!
