In the game ARC Raiders, you’ll often find Magnetrons and Geiger Counters spawning in the same areas.
These items are both uncommon, but valuable. You’ll need one to complete certain quests, and the other can be broken down into rare crafting materials. Plus, you can sell either one for a good price!
But where exactly do you find them? That’s what we’ll answer in this quick guide.
Magnetron & Geiger Counter Locations | ARC Raiders

Let’s get the difficult part out of the way first: finding the Magnetron and Geiger Counter depends entirely on chance. They don’t appear in specific, predictable places.
These items aren’t just your run-of-the-mill loot, they’re tagged as ‘Exodus’ gear. What that means is you’ll usually find them in the more advanced, indoor locations, but honestly, they can pop up anywhere, so keep your eyes peeled!
Luckily, the entire Stella Montis map can be considered a collection of high-tech indoor areas! That makes it the ideal place to find both of these items.
As mentioned earlier, these items don’t have specific places where they always appear. This means there isn’t one reliable location to farm them, even in Stella Montis.

The best way to find these items is to play the map as you normally would, but be sure to search every container you come across. While some players have had more luck in the Medical Research and Assembly areas, finding these items is ultimately based on chance.
These items appear more often in areas that require a key to access. A good place to start looking is the Stella Montis Security Checkpoint.
I’ve been playing, and it looks like you absolutely need the Magnetron for the Snap and Salvage quest, but honestly, I haven’t found a single thing the Geiger Counter is good for yet. It just seems to be taking up space in my inventory!

You can recycle Geiger Counters at the Raider Den to get Exodus Modules. Or, you can sell each one for 3500 coins, which is a pretty good amount.
That’s everything we know about finding the Magnetron and Geiger Counter in ARC Raiders! We hope you have good luck finding these rare items, Raider.
