Okay, so this key is seriously cool – it unlocks an armored patrol car! But getting it is totally based on chance, which is a bit frustrating. And the worst part? Even with the key, the game doesn’t give you any hints about where to actually find the car it opens! It’s a fun challenge, but definitely requires some searching.
Okay, so you’re probably a little lost, and that’s totally fine! Let me break it down for you – I’m going to explain everything you need to know about this thing. Trust me, I’ve been there!
Patrol Car Key Location Guide | ARC Raiders
Like most important items, the Patrol Car Key appears in a random spot each time you play. You’ll usually find it by searching containers in residential areas, but there’s no guaranteed place to look!
Okay, so if you’re looking for keys, especially in the Dam Battlegrounds map, I gotta tell you, the Research & Admin building is where it’s at. Seriously, there are containers everywhere in there, and they’re often holding keys – not just the one you need, but others too. It’s a really good spot to focus your search.
To use the key, go to the Blue Gate map and enter the tunnels underneath the Headhouse. That’s where you’ll find what you need.
After you enter the underground area, head to the location shown on the map. You’ll see a large, armored Mantikor truck – that’s the patrol vehicle you need. Simply use the key on the panel next to the back door to open it, and you’re set!
Just a heads-up, these keys aren’t reusable. Once I use one to open a patrol car, that’s it – I can only loot it that one time. If I want to check it again later, I’ll need to find another key. It’s a one-and-done deal!
