Arc Raiders has received a new update addressing important exploits and bugs. This comes before the planned release of the ‘Cold Snap’ update on December 16, 2025.
This update includes a few minor changes and is significantly smaller than previous updates. This is due to a number of factors.
Embark announced on X (formerly Twitter) that their update schedule is changing to every Tuesday. They won’t be releasing updates weekly for a while because of the holidays, but they expect to return to a regular schedule in January when everyone is back at the studio.
We won’t be releasing any new content today. Look forward to the Cold Snap Update next week for a complete breakdown of what’s new, which you can find details about here.

Full Patch Notes for Arc Raiders Update (December 11)
- Removed zipline out-of-bounds exploit on Stella Montis.
- Fixed vaulting bug on Blue Gate.
- Corrected material issues affecting bullet/blocking & ARC vision.
- Closed gap in Spaceport Launch Tower wall.
We’re hoping the latest updates – fixing the zipline exploit and the Spaceport issue – will resolve two problems that have been bothering players for weeks. These issues started appearing after a previous patch prevented players from bypassing locked doors. Unfortunately, exploits like these have been a recurring problem since the game launched, causing some players to temporarily leave but often return when fixes are released.
Hopefully, the Cold Snap update runs smoothly and doesn’t require any immediate fixes or emergency patches.
