Ludogram recently revealed a new trailer for their game, Ascenders: Beyond the Peak. It’s a turn-based adventure where you guide a team of climbers up dangerous, cursed mountains to find lost artifacts. Expect spooky challenges inspired by the horror stories of H.P. Lovecraft! Okay, so in Ascenders: Beyond the Peak, the biggest danger isn’t really the monsters – it’s the mountains themselves! Seriously, those icy walls are brutal, and you’re constantly dealing with rocks falling, poisonous plants, and the threat of avalanches. The terrain is genuinely the hardest part of the game. But here’s the thing: reaching the top of one climb isn’t the end of your journey, you’ve still got more to do after that!
Instead, players will face growing dangers from strange and corrupted environments, where plants and animals become increasingly aggressive. They’ll also encounter a mysterious, otherworldly force.
As players attempt these challenging climbs, their team members are linked together to offer support. But this connection also creates risk, because one mistake can endanger everyone. Making matters worse, characters who fall perish permanently, and even trying to retreat can backfire, ultimately worsening the situation.
Ascenders: Beyond the Peak is coming to PC in Q3 2026.
