Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Will Have Blood, Confirms Producer, And It’s Not “Paid DLC”

People generally reacted very positively to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, especially its updated graphics, smoother parkour, and added content. Combat was seen as slightly above average. However, almost everyone agreed on one major disappointment: the lack of blood. While the game looks great, the takedowns and pirate atmosphere just don’t feel right without it.

Okay, huge relief! I was worried they’d pull the blood from the remake, but the producer, Justin Ng, just confirmed it’s staying in and it won’t be behind a paywall – so no extra cost for that! Also, they’ve been listening to our feedback about the visual effects and sounds during combat and are working on making them less intense, which is good to hear.

Don’t worry, social stealth is still a core part of the game, even though it wasn’t highlighted in the initial reveal. You can still blend in with crowds, sit on benches to lose pursuers, and even hire distractions like dancers. The team decided to focus on Edward’s single-player story, so downloadable content and multiplayer modes weren’t included this time.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced arrives on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC on July 9th. The standard edition will cost $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99. The game features ray-traced lighting and global illumination on all platforms, and you can find the PC system requirements here.
