Attack on Titan Just Revealed Its Weirdest Crossover (And Most Missed It)

Though the anime Attack on Titan has finished telling the story of Eren Jaeger and the Scout Regiment, it remains popular. Throughout the series’ dark and compelling narrative, many memorable scenes became popular memes. Now, in a surprising move, a hugely popular mobile game has recreated a key moment from the story, showing a crucial turning point in Eren’s journey.

The popular mobile game Clash of Clans recently made fans laugh by recreating a famous scene from the anime Attack on Titan. It shows the character Eren staring at his reflection, a moment from the fourth season of the anime. While Clash of Clans doesn’t have its own anime series, it’s been incorporating anime references more and more lately. They’ve already paid tribute to popular shows like Jujutsu Kaisen and Re:Zero by having their characters recreate iconic scenes. You can see Clash of Clans’ version of Eren’s memorable scene below.

Attack on Titan’s Digital Domain

Although Attack on Titan once had mobile games like Attack on Titan: Assault and Attack on Titan: Tactics, both were eventually discontinued. It’s often hard to maintain excitement for a game based on an anime after the story ends, but Attack on Titan was well-supported with console and PC games that allowed fans to experience Eren Jaeger’s story. While there aren’t any new Attack on Titan games in development, characters and elements from the series still appear in collaborations with other popular franchises.

As a huge fan, I’ve been so excited to see Attack on Titan popping up in so many of my favorite games lately! It started with cool skins in titles like Fortnite, PUBG, Dead by Daylight, Call of Duty, and even Star Ocean – seeing those characters in completely new worlds is awesome. But Assassin’s Creed Shadows really blew me away! They didn’t just add skins; they created a whole DLC where you actually got to play through a key moment from the series, rescuing Eren from the crystal caves. Sadly, that collaboration was only around for a month in late 2025, which was a bummer. I’m really hoping they bring it back someday, and that we’ll see even more Attack on Titan content make its way into the gaming world!
