The official Pokemon Champions account announced on social media that the game will be available on iOS and Android starting June 17th. This date is significant for Pokemon Champions because it also marks the beginning of the new competitive season, with a new ruleset called Regulation M-B. This combination suggests the launch might be quite busy and exciting for players.
Pokemon Champions Mobile Version Slated to Release Alongside New Season
Since its release on Nintendo Switch (and the upcoming Switch 2) in April, Pokemon Champions has received one significant update, launching the Regulation M-2 season and addressing several bugs. However, this new season still largely follows the same rules as the game’s initial season, Regulation M-A. New Megas Finally Arrive in Pokemon Champions Alongside Mobile Release (Here’s How to Get Them for Free)
To celebrate the launch of Pokemon Champions on mobile, players will receive free gifts! When the game releases, everyone will get a new free Pokemon and Mega Stones. From June 17th to September 1st, players on both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices can claim a free Raichu, along with its Raichunite X and Raichunite Y, simply by logging in. You’ll find these gifts in your in-game mailbox after the mobile version of Champions is released.
Currently, Raichu is the only Mega Evolution confirmed to be added on June 17th. With the rules changing soon, many players are hoping to see even more Pokémon become available in Champions. Overall, June 17th looks like a big update for the competitive Pokémon scene, and it will at least give fans a new bonus to enjoy.
