Many fans consider Jason Momoa’s series Chief of War to be his best work. It originally premiered on Apple TV in August, and the first three episodes became available on Peacock through a recent partnership between the two streaming services. However, those initial episodes will be removed from Peacock on January 31st. Momoa not only stars as Kaʻiana, a Hawaiian war chief, but also co-created and executive produced the historical drama. The series tells the story of how the Hawaiian Islands were unified and colonized in the late 1700s, told from the perspective of the native Hawaiian people, as Kaʻiana tries to bring the islands together while facing a new danger.
