Okay, so pre-orders are live for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X! If you’re a Nintendo Switch person, you’ll be able to pre-order stuff starting April 1st. They’re also doing a special “Essence Edition” for around $30, and it sounds pretty cool – you get a digital comic, extra effects for whatever game it is, a digital art book, the soundtrack, the backstory on ‘Essence,’ and a special main menu if you support them. It’s basically a bunch of digital goodies!

With competition getting tougher, NBC and other networks have largely stuck to what they know, leading to a lot of reboots and revivals of older shows. A few years ago, network television offered more diverse programming, with studios taking risks on different types of shows. One show, La Brea, stands out as a reminder of this trend and is unfortunately part of the list of NBC sci-fi series that ended prematurely.

The relaxing game Tales of the Shire had a rocky beginning. It launched in July 2025 after several delays, and many players thought it needed further refinement. However, it’s gained a loyal following among fans of cozy games and Tolkien’s work—including me! Now, an updated version for the Switch 2 is available today, coinciding with Tolkien Reading Day.

The V/H/S horror series presents a collection of terrifying stories, much like sharing scary tales around a campfire. With ten movies in total, the franchise has delivered plenty of frights, but fans won’t be able to stream the original V/H/S and its first two sequels (V/H/S/2 and V/H/S: Viral) on Tubi much longer. These films, known for memorable segments like “Amateur Night” and “Safe Haven,” are leaving the platform, likely at the end of March. The series focuses on cursed videotapes that reveal disturbing and frightening footage.
