This woman recounts a chilling detail: while held captive in his car, she spotted a Barbie shoe and desperately tried to connect with Poole by mentioning her own daughter, hoping to appeal to his humanity. Sadly, it didn’t work, and he just left her on the side of the road with a slashed throat. It’s a genuinely disturbing detail that really sets the tone for what’s to come.
