David Corenswet dropped the announcement on his Instagram earlier today, and James Gunn confirmed it. But here’s the really cool part: HBO Max is releasing a special version alongside the regular cut. This one will have American Sign Language interpretation by the amazing Giovanni Maucere, and it’s being directed by Leila Hanaumi, who did fantastic work on the ASL versions of *Barbie* and *The Last of Us*. All four seasons and 49 episodes of the show *Wynonna Earp* unexpectedly appeared on Tubi on September 14th, despite not being listed in the streamer’s planned content for September. The popular series originally aired on Syfy from 2016 to 2021 and concluded with a special episode, *Wynonna Earp: Vengeance*, which debuted on Tubi in 2024. Created by Emily Andras, the show is based on the comic book series by Beau Smith and stars Melanie Scrofano as Wynonna Earp, the descendant of famous lawman Wyatt Earp. The story follows Wynonna as she returns to her hometown, Purgatory, and partners with the immortal Doc Holliday to fight demons. The cast also includes Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and Katherine Barrell.
The Australian action movie *Primitive War*, which came out on August 21, 2025, throws a platoon of Vietnam War soldiers (set in 1968) into a battle against resurrected dinosaurs. It gained attention as the first Australian film to be featured at a San Diego Comic-Con panel in 2024, and earned $210,730 in limited theatrical release. Now, *Samuel Goldwyn Films* is making the movie available for streaming and rental on October 3, 2025, so you can watch it at home.
