Looking ahead to 2026, we might see a return to how things were before the pandemic disrupted the movie industry. Several major films are planned, including Avengers: Doomsday, The Mandalorian & Grogu, and Dune: Part Three. There’s a real possibility that the number of films earning over $1 billion at the box office could increase dramatically during the six-week summer movie season, starting with the release of well-known franchises.

Today’s update adds a new module called the Gamer’s Den, which includes a custom card game you can play. The developers even added it “because even a stranded workforce of Jans needs somewhere to unwind.”

It’s actually somewhat amusing because, overall, Renegades is perfectly fine. Despite borrowing heavily from Star Wars – and doing so in a strange way – it’s a fairly simple game for anyone familiar with Destiny. It doesn’t offer many surprises, and its gameplay feels largely unoriginal. Even the missions where you explore the Lawless Frontier, requesting vehicles and airstrikes similar to Helldivers 2, aren’t nearly as thrilling or engaging.

The beginning of Metal Gear Solid 2 cleverly sets up Solid Snake as the main hero, making players feel comfortable and familiar with the series. However, the game takes a surprising turn after just an hour. The story jumps forward two years, and Snake is believed to be dead. From then on, you play as Raiden, a new character who, while less experienced and charming than Snake, is more agile and capable. Raiden’s biggest advantage in gameplay is his ability to quickly roll between cover. But many players were initially frustrated by the change because Raiden lacked Snake’s personality and iconic voice. It felt like a beloved character had been put on the sidelines with no promise of a return. Looking back, we now appreciate Raiden’s development and his impressive role in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but in 2001, there was no guarantee that Solid Snake would ever regain the spotlight.
