Attack on Titan Returns Before Major Studio MAPPA Event

To mark its fifteenth anniversary, the studio MAPPA has released a new image from Attack on Titan that revisits the aftermath of Eren Jaeger’s death and the end of the Rumbling. The image shows Mikasa visiting Eren’s grave under a famous tree, even though she was the one who ended his life. Despite Eren’s destructive actions in the anime’s finale, his friends still mourn him. The artwork was created by several veteran animators from the series, including Yuichiro Hayashi, Tomohiro Kishi, Iku Onishi, Yumena Ohama, and Yusuke Tannawa.
