This Rare 1966 Batman Playset is One of the Cheapest Looking Things You Can Buy for $25,000

The Official Batman and Justice League playset is a hollow purple plastic mountain from the 1960s, featuring glowing figures of classic DC villains. It came with accessories that are now quite dated – you’d need the original box to even recognize some of them! While today’s kids wouldn’t give it a second glance, this set was the center of countless imaginative adventures for young Batman fans back then. Produced by Ideal, it has become a highly sought-after DC collectible from that era, and many consider it one of the most valuable items alongside the Official Batman Utility Belt. But is this seemingly simple toy really worth its current asking price of $25,000?

What If…? Thor Got Spider-Man’s Symbiote Suit? #1 Is Way More Fun Than It Has Any Right to Be (Review)

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one-shot comic! Thor’s been doing well in recent stories, but combining him with the symbiotes seemed like an odd choice. However, Torunn Gronbek and Sergio Davila really delivered. They cleverly used the ‘What If…?’ format to create a genuinely fantastic story that goes beyond simply making Thor more powerful – it’s something truly special.

Spider-Man: Long Way Home Is How to Do Movie Synergy (Review)

When Marvel announced the Spider-Man: Long Way Home miniseries, many fans worried it felt like a setup for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The series features early appearances from Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the Punisher, seemingly to build hype for the next installment. However, the first issue proves it can also work as a strong story on its own. Written by Johnathan Hickman with detailed art by Adam Kubert, who also handles the intense action sequences, this comic is a fantastic and promising beginning to what looks like a really enjoyable adventure.

It’s Great Shang-Chi 2 Isn’t Cancelled, But I’m Still Worried About 1 Thing

During interviews for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Destin Daniel Cretton told Deadline that reports of Shang-Chi 2 being cancelled are false, and he understands fans are frustrated by the wait. He explained they are still working on the sequel, but the timing has been complicated by industry-wide changes since the first film’s release. While Shang-Chi was successful, its release coincided with a new wave of COVID-19 and theater closures in many countries. Following that, the film industry experienced significant upheaval, causing unavoidable delays. Although this is positive news, the current Marvel Cinematic Universe schedule still presents some challenges for the sequel.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is the Biggest Fantasy Event of 2026

I’m incredibly excited for Christopher Nolan’s take on The Odyssey! It’s amazing to think he’s bringing to life a story that’s over 2,700 years old – truly the oldest surviving piece of literature! Knowing Nolan, and with a tale that unfolds over two decades, this adaptation is shaping up to be a massive, epic fantasy film. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this, and July 17, 2026, can’t come soon enough!

Nintendo Issues Statement Following Data Breach

Nintendo of America knows about the recent security issue, as reported by Nintendo Life. They’ve confirmed that Nintendo’s own systems are secure and that your games should continue to function normally while they fix the problem. Importantly, they also stated that no customer personal or financial information was accessed. This disruption shouldn’t directly affect Switch and Switch 2 owners, at least for the time being.
