Man, it looks like a bunch of unreleased game footage leaked! I’ve seen videos popping up showing pretty much the whole story of 007: First Light, and it seems Echoes of Aincrad got hit with the same thing. Apparently, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse were also part of the leak, but I haven’t seen those videos showing up yet. It’s a bummer when stuff like this happens, especially if you were excited for these games!
As a longtime Hulk reader, I’ve seen some incredible stories, but Greg Pak’s “Planet Hulk” still stands out as a true masterpiece. It launched what many fans consider the best era for the character twenty years ago. This 13-issue arc, with art by Carlo Pagulayan, Aaron Lopresit, and Gary Frank, took Bruce Banner to the alien world of Sakaar and completely reinvented the Jade Giant. It felt like a true blockbuster event, and when the Marvel Cinematic Universe started, everyone was hoping for a direct adaptation. While the movie version didn’t quite capture the magic of the comics, the original “Planet Hulk” still holds up beautifully twenty years later – it’s a special story, and one I highly recommend.
On April 13th, the last movie in the recent Halloween trilogy, Halloween Ends, became available on Netflix. This film concludes the story started by director David Gordon Green and producer Blumhouse, and it’s Jamie Lee Curtis’s final performance as Laurie Strode. The movie picks up four years after Halloween Kills, introducing a new character, Corey Cunningham, who becomes connected to a vulnerable Michael Myers. Together, they unleash more terror on Haddonfield, leading to a violent and definitive confrontation between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.
When The Boys first came out, it was a huge success, and Prime Video immediately decided to adapt the entire comic book series. Although the TV show has made some changes to the original story, it generally follows the same path, leading everyone to believe season 5 would be the end. Now that season 5 has arrived, that remains true – it’s confirmed to be the show’s finale. However, while a complete return of The Boys seems unlikely, Prime Video could potentially revisit the story with a new iteration in the future.
