The sci-fi series “Resident Alien” first aired on Syfy in 2021, but its journey wasn’t smooth sailing. Despite achieving massive success with a near-perfect 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and being one of the top-rated sci-fi shows of the 21st century on that platform, Alan Tudyk, who starred as an alien in the show, described the past four years as a “whirlwind” due to the many hurdles the series had to overcome repeatedly to finally reach our screens.

Dynamite Entertainment unveiled a new addition to its Disney Villains comic book series, introducing Disney Villains: Maleficent, written by Paulina Ganucheau and Theo Stultz. Notably, Ganucheau has previously worked on The Powerpuff Girls for Dynamite. Meanwhile, Stultz is a celebrated Ignatz Award-winning artist. For the debut issue of Disney Villains: Maleficent, Ganucheau and Stultz will contribute variant covers. They’ll be accompanied by creators Ellery Santos and Robert Quinn in this project.

At the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, participants will receive a complimentary Farigiraf for both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games. The distribution of these unique Farigirafs begins on August 15th, and players have until August 22nd to add Luca’s Farigiraf to their own collection.
