Based on the webtoon by Jeong Chan, the series Bloodhounds follows Kim Gun-woo, a young boxer whose mother falls victim to a dangerous loan shark while trying to provide for her family. Season one saw Gun-woo team up with a less violent loan shark, Choi Tae-ho, and a former marine, Hong Woo-jin, leading them into the brutal world of debt collection. Now, season two focuses on Gun-woo and Woo-jin dealing with the aftermath of those experiences, while also becoming targets of an illegal boxing organization. While a bit more subdued than the first season, it remains a tense and captivating story, and strongly hints at an even more explosive third season.
