Since its release on Netflix, KPop Demon Hunters has become a global hit, and now it’s also receiving awards recognition. The show has earned three nominations at the 83rd annual Golden Globes, including Best Animated Feature Film, making it one of the most nominated animated films in the history of the awards.

Hackaday reported on December 7, 2025, that a new first-person shooter game, surprisingly, has been created for the ZX Spectrum. Developed by Jakub Trznadel, World of Spells runs on the classic system, which first launched in North America in 1983. Though not as famous today as some other 8-bit consoles, the ZX Spectrum was a popular early home computer and gaming console. It’s quite rare to see new games developed for a system that stopped production in 1985.

Today’s update adds a new module called the Gamer’s Den, which includes a custom card game you can play. The developers even added it “because even a stranded workforce of Jans needs somewhere to unwind.”
