Directors Who Should Lead Marvel’s Phase 7 Mutant Saga

The team-up film Thunderbolts has proven popular, and as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) introduces more mutants with planned crossovers and individual movies starting in Phase 7, many different directors will likely put their own spin on these powerful characters. While directors like Chloé Zhao, Ryan Coogler, and Sam Raimi would be excellent choices, Marvel Studios should also consider other talented filmmakers to lead the unfolding “Mutant Saga.”

My Hero Academia Teases Major Anime Reveal

I’m following the updates for My Hero Academia, and it looks like we’re getting some news about the upcoming “More” special tomorrow, April 3rd. They haven’t revealed exactly what the news will be, but the special itself is scheduled to be released on May 2nd. Fans are really hoping to finally see some footage, as it could be a preview of the anime’s final installment. From what I understand, Studio BONES didn’t include everything from the manga’s last chapter, so this new installment will likely show more of Midoriya and Ochaco’s relationship – if they stick to the original story.

Nic Cage’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Remains Disney’s Weirdest Live-Action Remake

The company has a long history of creating live-action movies based on its animated films. The original 101 Dalmatians was a particularly influential example, establishing a pattern for future adaptations. Films like Pirates of the Caribbean and Tomorrowland were directly inspired by stories from Disney theme park attractions. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a bit different, though. While based on a segment from an animated film and drawing on Disney lore, it never quite found its footing as a successful franchise.
