Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen has focused on Yuta, who continues to fight alongside Rika and maintains a large amount of cursed energy even though he seemingly lost access to her. The season finale revealed that Yuta has developed his own unique cursed technique since the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. This technique allows him to copy the abilities of others, but it has limitations.

Gandalf first reappeared in all three films adapted from The Hobbit, and he’s set to be in the new movie The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Plus, the popular Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has revealed that the character known as the Stranger is actually Gandalf. Even with all these appearances, there are still five aspects of Gandalf’s story that remain confusing.

While Crimson Desert boasts a beautiful open world and graphics, what truly stood out was something I hadn’t experienced in a game before. It took getting past a rough beginning to appreciate it, but once I did, I was amazed. The incredibly realistic conversations and writing in Crimson Desert are truly unique and are among the most impressive aspects of the game.

Two Nintendo Switch games are being removed, one of which is Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Originally released in 2021, it only came to the Switch in 2023 as a cloud-based game. This means even though it has some offline content, the Switch version always required an internet connection. Now, the game is being removed from the eShop and will become unplayable shortly after its three-year anniversary on August 5th. It’s being delisted because the servers are shutting down, but the reason for this isn’t clear. Cold Iron Studios hasn’t explained why, though it likely comes down to the cost of maintaining the servers being higher than the game’s profits on Switch, or a licensing issue that wasn’t worth renewing.

Netflix recently raised prices again, and unlike last time—when the increase was linked to adding live TV—they haven’t explained why this time. Customers are frustrated with the constant price increases and the removal of features like phone casting. Now, other streaming services are playfully poking fun at the situation online, using memes and social media to highlight the issue—a strategy clearly driven by a savvy millennial marketing team.

As a huge DC fan, I always found it fascinating when heroes outside the usual Lanterns got their hands on a ring! During the Blackest Night event, it happened a lot! Like, the Atom became an Indigo Tribe member because he’s just such a compassionate guy. Green Arrow grabbed a ring when he really needed a boost, and it was wild to see. Poor Supergirl didn’t even realize what was happening when she suddenly became a Red Lantern! Seriously, so many DC heroes have worn a Lantern ring at some point.
