I recently discovered a fascinating Pokémon fan project that stands out from the many gameplay-altering ROM hacks. It’s a dating sim visual novel, similar in style to the Persona series, rather than the traditional Pokémon creature-collecting experience. This game has been in development for a while, with changes in its development team and a lot of support from passionate fans – a community I hope to join someday. Called Pokémon Academy Life Forever, it offers a unique take on the Pokémon universe and, importantly, could point towards an exciting new direction for the series.

As a longtime Marvel fan, I’ve been following the build-up to the Fantastic Four’s official MCU arrival, and this new comic, Fantastic Four: First Foes #1, is a clever tie-in. It’s particularly interesting because it finally brings René Rodin, who you might remember as being mentioned in the recent film, fully into the universe. We only got hints of his character before, but this comic really fleshes out his connection to the Fantastic Four’s beginnings and explains his eventual transformation into the Mad Thinker. It’s a nice bit of world-building that adds depth to the overall narrative.

A new trailer confirms that BLOOD MALL: RETAPED is almost ready to launch. The game’s Steam page now lists an expected release date of April 22, 2026, and players can add it to their wishlist now. It’s designed as a brief, single-player horror game for PC.

First on this list is Polybius, a game many believe never actually existed. Rumors circulated in 1981 that the arcade game appeared briefly in the Portland, Oregon, area before vanishing. Players reportedly experienced seizures and other health problems while playing, leading to its quick removal. The story involves secret government agents, and two games named Polybius were released much later. It’s included here because, despite never being found – or possibly never existing – people actively searched for it across the country.

Despite a rocky start, Agents of SHIELD became a beloved part of the Marvel universe thanks to its compelling characters. The connection between Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons, which began as a cute working relationship, developed into one of TV’s most intense and heartbreaking romances. Daisy Johnson also had a remarkable journey, growing from a tech consultant on the sidelines to a powerful Inhuman hero. Later, characters like Mack and Yo-Yo added much-needed heart to the show as the challenges became greater. While the series created many popular characters, the chemistry between Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter was particularly strong, so much so that the writers considered giving them their own show.
