PICROSS S KONAMI ANTIQUES edition announced for Switch

Jupiter Corporation is releasing a new version of the classic puzzle game PICROSS for the Nintendo Switch. Titled PICROSS S KONAMI ANTIQUES edition, it will be available as a digital download from the Nintendo eShop on April 30th. The game will cost $17.99, €17.99, £16.19, or ¥1,800.

Beloved characters from classic KONAMI games are now featured in Picross S on Nintendo Switch!

This collection features over 80 unique puzzles! You’ll find characters reimagined as pixel art from all sorts of games—including sports titles, dating sims, and popular series like Castlevania, Contra, and Gradius.

So, like all the Picross S games, this one’s got the classic modes: regular Picross, Mega Picross, Color Picross, and Clip Picross. But there’s also an Extra mode with huge puzzles that are actually pictures of famous scenes, which is pretty cool. And get this – in Time Attack mode, the characters actually react to what you do! You’ve gotta be fast and clear those puzzles before time runs out!

As a huge Picross fan, I’m so excited about how much content is packed into this game! There are 150 regular Picross puzzles and 150 Mega Picross ones, plus 5 Clip Picross. That’s a whopping 200 grid puzzles, each with 40 squares, alongside 30 Color Picross and 5 Extra puzzles. And if you love a challenge, the Time Attack mode has 30 really well-picked Picross grids to test your skills!

You can now listen to the puzzle game music using the new Music Player! Relax and enjoy these classic KONAMI songs whenever you like.
