Even without a trailer yet, buzz is building for “Avengers: Doomsday.” People who’ve seen early screenings are incredibly excited, with some saying it could be one of the best Avengers movies ever made. It seems Marvel Studios might not even need a trailer to get fans hyped!
Avengers: Doomsday hailed as ‘greatest superhero movie’
The first reactions to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ are creating a lot of excitement among Marvel fans. One user, James Mack, shared that he’s seen a lot of positive feedback, describing the movie as a truly epic superhero event – even calling it the greatest superhero movie ever made.
According to industry insider MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel Studios showed an early cut of the film to Kevin Feige and a small team. The source says the reaction was overwhelmingly positive, with some calling it the best Marvel movie so far. Robert Meyer Burnett noted that the buzz around this screening was similar to the excitement generated by Avengers: Infinity War in 2018.
The movie has gone through significant changes since it was first announced as The Kang Dynasty, originally with Destin Daniel Cretton as director. Marvel has now decided to focus on Doctor Doom as the main villain and has brought back the Russo Brothers to direct. In a surprising move, Kevin Feige has cast Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom, which has received a varied response from fans.
Marvel Studios delayed the release of a movie from May 1st to December 18th to improve the storyline. They’ve also decided to wait a full year after one film, ‘Doomsday’, before releasing ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, without any other new movies in between. This is to create excitement and make sure both films feel like huge, must-see events.
The film boasts a star-studded cast including Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, and Paul Rudd. Joining them are Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, and Joseph Quinn, as well as X-Men favorites Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Kelsey Grammer, alongside Channing Tatum. The movie is directed by the Russo Brothers, with a script written by Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
Avengers: Secret Wars follows on December 17, 2027.
