Marvel Studios’ upcoming film titled “Avengers: End of Days” has received a fresh update, hinting at the impending arrival of the X-Men within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The next installment of the Avengers series is set to be released on December 18, 2026, and will be followed by the premiere of “Avengers: Secret Wars” on December 17, 2027.
What to expect from the X-Men costumes in Avengers: Doomsday?
As stated by Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, it’s said that the upcoming X-Men suits in Avengers: Doomsday will apparently take inspiration from the visual styles seen in the Astonishing X-Men comic books and the popular Disney+ show X-Men ’97.
According to Perez, the costume designs are quite impressive, resembling a fusion of Astonishing X-Men and X-Men 97 styles.
Moreover, it’s been hinted that the film Doomsday might introduce additional mutants not yet revealed, suggesting that the X-Mansion is bursting with intriguing mutant characters. This could mean that audiences may encounter some fresh X-Men personalities in the upcoming movie. The fifth installment promises a comeback of popular X-Men actors like Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.
The upcoming movie titled “Avengers: Doomsday” is being directed by the creators of “Avengers: Endgame,” Joe and Anthony Russo, from a script penned by Stephen McFeely. In this new chapter, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Evans (with rumors suggesting Evans’ appearance), are set to return along with an ensemble cast that includes Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Danny Ramirez. Notably, Downey Jr. will be portraying a distinct character this time around as Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom.
