The forthcoming Avengers: Doomsday trailer has received an update.
Marvel Studios is finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film is expected to hit US theaters in just over a year, and a follow-up movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is planned for release in December 2027.
What is the update on the Avengers: Doomsday trailer?
As a huge Marvel fan, I’ve been hearing whispers that the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was going to play before showings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. But then, earlier this week, the internet started buzzing about a possible early online release – some people thought it might drop today, December 11th! It all started when the Korean Media Rating Board listed the trailer as being a minute and 25 seconds long, which really got everyone excited.
Actually, the trailer isn’t coming out today. And according to insider Daniel Richtman, it won’t be available online at all next week.
Good news for fans: a teaser trailer for the new film will be shown before early screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. According to a source, this means some people will be among the first to see it. They’re hoping the trailer will also be released online around Christmas.
Once James Cameron’s new Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, comes out, expect to see a lot of poor-quality leaks online. The best way to avoid spoilers is to see it in theaters when it’s released on December 19, 2025.
I’m so excited for what’s coming! It looks like Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is hitting theaters on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6. And then, get this – Avengers: Secret Wars, directed by the Russo brothers again, is scheduled for December 17, 2027! It feels like a long wait, but I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
